We have had quite the costume fiascal this year. Nolan told me over and over that he wanted to be a spider and Taylor wanted to be a cat. So I dug deep trying to remember how to thread the sewing machine and made a cat tail, ears, and a spider shell. Nolan took one look at that spider and it was over. That wasn't what he had in mind. Luckily, Taylor was pretty impressed that her Mom could make something like that and was sold on the costume. As you can see Nolan will be spider man, and Taylor will be our spider. They are a lot of fun to get all dressed up, and I know they will be even more fun when they see there pumpkin buckets getting filled with candy.

Ha ha ha! That is great! Ah, the days of your kids having opinions. I hate to tell you this, but I remember when my mom would put time and love into something and I would turn it down because it waasn't pretty enough or what I was thinking of. Like prom dresses, etc. I do not look forward to the day when my kids do that do me. I think, unfortunately, you are coming up on that time rapidly. And I had a good laugh at the infamous spiderman costume. I don't think I will get one of those for Josiah. :)
