Updates

Taylor 4 years old at preschool
Jessy 5 months old sitting up on her own first time

Nolan 3 years old with his favorite wood train set
It seems like these guys change every minute. What fun ages they are at! We have the 5 mo old that just grows like a weed and is exploring everything. Babies are so great, and what a joy Jessy has been. The first time I was stressed and didn't know what I was doing. The second time I had a one year old and was trying to keep my head attached, and this time I am able to relish the absolute miracle in every moment. I love to look at Jessy when she is sleeping and admire her beauty, and enjoy the slowness to life babies bring.
Nolan loves, loves, loves, I cant emphasize enough his love of his trains. He loves putting the track together in as many ways as possible. If I could could predict his future I would say he may be an engineer. He is very much a Daddy's boy right now. If I gave him a choice between Disney Land and a day at home with Dad, he would choose his Dad hands down.
Taylor is a little whipper snapper. She is one smart bean. She has memorized every character on my soap opera...not a score for me. She is very "with it," and a very thoughtful girl. She covered me up for a nap yesterday, asked if she could get me anything, and then left my door a little bit open so I wouldn't have to turn the knob. So sweet.
Yesterday during story time she said, "my heart is hugging itself." I love to hear what comes out of their mouth, and I fear it as well. Taylor and Nolan have formed some what of a gang....a special one that noone can join. They gang up on their little cousins, and I don't know what to do. They just love each other what can I say.

Yard Sale Mania

My sister and I had a yard sale this last weekend. What a job it is to have a yard sale. If you put it out they will come. It is really fun to wheel and deal in quarters and dollars. It is like monopoly with a better incentive. We got a lot of stuff cleared out, and jay is enjoying the extra space in his garage. That will be my last garage sale for a couple of years...craigs list is so much more chill. There is a yard sale at the trac in june that I think will be fun to check out. Lots of wierdies and there weird stuff that can't go to goodwill but must be placed into the hands of the next victom owners.

The Climb

This is the only way I could figure out how to get music to my blog...again I am still working on my "coolness." Everytime I hear this song, that I love, I always think of my girl, Kelly. She is in the last trimester of what seems like the longest hardest pregnancy ever. She has had the rockiest road imaginable, and it seems like when she overcomes one hurdle she has two new ones. I just want to let her know I love her and this temporary status in her life will soon be over. At the end of this long hard climb a beautiful baby boy awaits. Fill your mind with optimism, know that happy times are ahead, and every sacrifice is repaid ten fold. We have been friends since the tire swing in forth grade and since Sarah Synthia Sylvia Stout Simply Would Not Take The Garbage Out. These are the most challenging times of our lives and by far the most rewarding. I am here for you always. You are beautiful, strong, couragous, you can and will make it through this. I love you.

Easter!

I have decided that I love Easter, with the true meaning set aside for a moment, what a great holiday! It comes with a set activity that is inexpensive and everyone loves, a mascot that is not scary, and gifts that fit into one small basket. The kids loved the easter egg hunts, and loved rehiding the eggs for each other. When they would hide them for me they always made me close my eyes and then they would bring me to each egg, and then rehide them in the same spot. So cute. We had a nice relaxing holiday and really enjoyed the kids excitement opening the eggs. What a fun age...they are so much entertainment and love.

Welcome Addition

We are so excited to welcome a new baby boy into the family! Baby Cannon Parker was born to Heather and James on the 10th of April, weighing in at 8lbs 4oz. This was a long time coming, Heather went a week in a half over her due date, and in pregnancy years I calculated that to be 20 weeks. Congratulations you guys, we are so happy for you and look forward to watching your family grow.

What's On Your Mind

Occasionally I let the kids take pictures with our camera, last week Taylor took about 50. Here are a few of her cute pictures. I just love to see what captures their interest. A window into their sweet little minds.

Tanning Revolution

I went tanning today for the first time in probably 6 years, and it seemed so high tech. The beds were super "spacy" and very fancy. There was a super super bed, super bed, supreme beds, and old school wattage. Stand up beds, spray tans, face lamps or no face lamps. Lotion with bronzer or scent of grapefruit, which by the way comes with a heavy price. I felt like a freshman getting an orientation in college. I have a lot more work to do to work on my coolness. LOL

Great Birthday!

My birthday week is officially over darnit. I had the best week, but all good things must come to an end. It was full of great suprises and a lot of fun. I fit in a girls night out, some gambling, I am a serious black jack shark by the way, and so much more. Jay planned a suprise date with the works. I love you honey, thank you. Taylor and Nolan beautifully wrapped some wonderful rocks...love them you guys. Thank you to everyone who remembered and thanks for the generous presents...I felt so special this last week. Now that I think about it, maybe I should make it a birthday month. Thank you thank you thank you!!
